Why AI clips still need a human pass
Moment detection gets the idea right more often than the edges. A draft can open half a second late, crop the wrong speaker or spell a guest's name the way it sounded. Those are small fixes, and they decide whether a clip looks careless.
Tighten the start and end
Drag the in and out points, cut a slice at the playhead, and restore it if you change your mind. Zoom the timeline for frame-level trims.
Fix the frame
Switch between Fill, Split (stacked top and bottom), PiP and Fit, and mark the Top, Facecam and Bottom regions so the right person stays on screen.
Correct what viewers read
Double-click any caption word to edit it, change the caption style or position, and add text overlays with their own timing and style.
What each panel does

- Describe an edit in plain language: trims, captions, text or framing. Each request uses AI capacity, with undo and redo.
- Layout
- Fill, Split, PiP or Fit framing, with selectable Top, Facecam and Bottom regions.
- Audio
- Remove silences on this clip, set the minimum silence length, and keep or restore individual pauses.
- B-roll
- Add stock B-roll footage at key moments, in vertical or horizontal format.
- Layers
- Adjust each B-roll layer's timing, add a zoom effect with a strength setting, or remove it.
- Subtitles
- Change caption style and appearance, toggle captions on the clip, and edit individual words.
- Text
- Text overlays with position, start and end time, style presets, outline and background.
