Auto-framing

Every shot gets its own frame. Nobody gets cut in half.

A wide shot of two hosts, a close-up, a slide, a screen share: one clip can hold all of them. HypeNest looks at each shot of the clip with the clip's title and transcript in mind and picks the vertical layout a phone viewer can follow most easily.

  • A layout per shot, not per clip
  • One speaker by default
  • Whole picture over blur when it will not fit
  • Zoom any shot in the editor

Framing that follows the content

A vertical crop of a horizontal video is a choice about what the viewer should see. HypeNest makes that choice per shot and keeps it calm.

01

Decided per shot

Shots are found first, then the AI picks a layout for each one, reading the clip's title, description, transcript and how long each shot stays in the cut.

02

Content first

One window on the person or thing that matters is the default. A camera cut or someone walking through the frame does not turn the clip into a split screen.

03

Zoom out, never cut off

When the subject is wider than a vertical window, the crop zooms out over a blurred copy of the picture instead of slicing through a face, a board or a chart.

The layouts a shot can get

Each shot ends up in one of these. A crop holds steady for the length of the shot instead of chasing every small movement.

Single
One window on the speaker or the subject. Used for most shots, including handheld vlogs and street footage.
Two people stacked
Two people talking in one wide shot from a fixed camera, like a podcast table, go one above the other. Video-call tiles are stacked too.
Presenter over content
A screen recording or slides with a webcam or avatar presenter shows the presenter on top and the content below.
Fit over blur
A board, chart, slide, screen or title card with no person to follow is shown whole, with a blurred fill above and below.

Not the frame you wanted? Change that one shot.

The Layout panel of the clip editor shows the plan as segments on the timeline. Fix a single shot without touching the rest of the clip.

  1. 01

    Pick the shot

Each layout segment shows its style and time. Select one, split it at the playhead or merge it with the next one.

  2. 02

    Change the layout

Switch the segment between Fill, Split, PiP and Fit, or apply one layout to the whole clip.

  3. 03

    Set the zoom

Zoom a shot in or out. The editor tells you whether it shows blurred bars or fills the frame.

  4. 04

    Move the frame

Drag the preview to reframe a stretch, add keyframes where the frame should move, or turn on Follow face.
