Glossary
Video repurposing
Turning one long source video into multiple shorter assets — clips, titles, thumbnails, and posts — for other formats and platforms. Repurposing is the whole job after the recording exists: extract, package, review, then publish. It is not a synonym for “make a clip.”
In a HypeNest pass
In HypeNest the source is a finished long video. The outputs are clip candidates plus packaging, then a human review before YouTube or TikTok publish. Direct publish stays behind that review. Instagram Reels is not a live destination yet.
FAQ
- Is repurposing the same as clipping?
- Clipping is the cut. Repurposing includes titles, captions, thumbnails, and the publish path after the cut.
- What source works best?
- A finished talking-head, podcast, webinar, or tutorial. Live multicam chaos and silent b-roll libraries yield weaker hooks.
